Workplace Safety Orientation

This is an example of the training most of our clients start with: a short safety orientation every new or seasonal employee completes before their first shift. It is written for a waterfront crew in Juneau, but the structure fits any workplace.

How this course works

• Employees are enrolled by their manager through a group, so the course is not open to the public. The first lesson is a free preview.
• Each lesson has a minimum reading time before it can be marked complete.
• The sign-off quiz has to be passed at 100%, with as many attempts as it takes.
• Access lasts one year, so the course comes back around as an annual refresher, and the group leader sees who has finished.
